Twitter’s new owner and CEO Elon Musk has been implementing interesting changes for the past few weeks. This time, he announced that Twitter will soon include a feature allowing users to add long-form text to their tweets.

Although Musk didn’t say when the functionality would arrive, he promised it would end the “absurdity of notepad screenshots.”
He further added that this will be followed by creator monetization for all forms of content.
In another cryptic tweet, Elon Musk took a dig at the search feature of Twitter and said that it will get better in future.
Search within Twitter reminds me of Infoseek in ‘98! That will also get a lot better pronto.

Edit Button For All Users
Last week, it was reported that Elon Musk might soon allow everyone to edit their tweets for free. The ability to edit tweets is an exclusive part of the Twitter Blue service which was introduced in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand recently.
The edit function will enable users to make changes to their tweets after they’ve been published.
“Edit Tweet is a feature that lets people make changes to their Tweet after it’s been published,” the firm explained in a blog post last month. “Think of it as a short period of time to do things like fix typos, add missed tags, and more.”
