Comparing the sedan and the hatchback, both wheelbases are at 2,600mm. The rear length of the hatchback; however, is just short of 200mm compared to its sedan counterpart. There’s still plenty of legroom here, and interestingly the 2021 Honda City Hatchback has more legroom than the current (and final model) Jazz.
The interior of the City Hatchback is made to complement its RS status. The inside looks premium, and there are red sporty accents are everywhere. The seats made of leather and suede are not just sporty-looking, they also help in keeping the temperature down even under the sun. The new City Hatch also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which simplifies and streamlines content streaming from your phone to the car’s A/V. The new Honda City Hatchback also comes with the Ultra Seat, arguably one of the best features of the outgoing Honda Jazz.Â
Hatchbacks are undeniably more “flashy” than sedans. To make it even flashier, the City Hatchback is equipped with a front under spoiler, side under spoiler, and rear under spoiler. In addition, the design of the 16-inch wheels is also made to appear sportier because of its dark black paint. The rear lights of the hatchback are also edgier than that of the typical City sedans. Lastly, the hatchback’s rear comes with a designed trimming at the bottom. As for the front, the hatch and sedan variants of the Honda City don’t really look too different, as both come with the same LED headlights and identical bumpers.
2021 Honda City Hatchback Price Philippines
The Philippines will only be carrying one Honda City Hatchback variant: The Honda City Hatchback 1.5 RS CVT. This will come in a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder engine, with 119hp and 145Nm of torque. Available colors are Platinum White Pearl, Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic. The Honda City Hatchback comes with a price tag of Php 1,115,000 with an additional P20,000 for the Platinum White Pearl.
