Beats Huawei’s P20 and Samsung’s Galaxy S9 Plus
The verdict is in: Based on DxOMark’s series of tests, the newly-launched HTC U12+ garnered a total score of 103, with a score of 106 for photo and 95 for video. This places the U12+ above the Huawei P20 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S9+, and below the Huawei P20 Pro.
According to DxOMark, the U12+ is a step up from the U11 as it offers an outstanding photo performance for color and autofocus, along with an impressive performance for bokeh and zoom. As for its video performance, the U12+ excels in having accurate indoor and outdoor exposures, along with good color rendering and excellent autofocus tracking.
That being said, the U12+ keeps up with the best smartphones right now in terms of both photo and video quality. Check out DxOMark’s findings here.
