After Huawei revealed that it is rebranding the P series into the Pura series, we spotted the Pura 70 Ultra at the China website of Huawei, and media outlets reported that the Pura 70 series is now on sale. This indicates that Huawei is going for the same strategy it did with the Mate 60 series, where they opted for a very low-key launch.

It is reported that the Pura 70 series starts at CNY 5499(~Php 44k)Â and comes with HarmonyOS 4.2 and Huawei’s own LLM for AI functions.
The base Pura 70 has a 6.6-inch 120hz OLED display with second-generation Kunlun Glass and a punch-hole for a 13-megapixel selfie camera and comes with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage. Its triple rear camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.4 to 4.0 variable aperture and OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 12-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and OIS.
Keeping the lights on the Pura 70 is a 4900mAh battery with 66w wired and 50w wireless charging.
Moving up to the Pura 70 Pro, you are getting a bigger 6.8-inch 120hz AMOLED display, a different 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a high-resolution 48-megapixel macro telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The Pura 70 Pro+ differentiates itself from the Pura 70 Pro by having 16GB RAM and a more premium design. Save for those differences, the Pura 70 Pro and Pro+ are nearly identical.
Rounding up the Pura 70 series is the Pura 70 Ultra, which uses a more durable Xuanwu tempered Kunlun glass, a 1-inch 50-megapixel sensor for the main camera with a retractable lens, a high-resolution 40-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and satellite connectivity.
