While the Moto X Style isn’t water-proof, Motorola says that the body of the Moto X Style is splash resistant. Much like its older sibling the Moto X, customers in the US and other countries that support the company’s Moto Maker service can choose between a number of back plates, materials and accent colors, as well as a soft silicon rubber back if bright and colorful isn’t your thing. Just like the Moto X, the Moto X Style sports front facing speakers that produce stereo sound when you need them.
Just like we mentioned earlier, the Moto X Style sports a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and a near-stock version of Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Moto X Style will come in a number of storage options, which include 16/32/64GB storage capacities.
The Moto X Style comes with a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera, which is a big upgrade over the previous model.
Early estimates are putting the price of the Moto X Style at around $399, which comes to around 18K directly converted to our currency. That’s a very, very competitive price, considering that the Moto X Stle is a flagship device from an international brand. Unfortunately it seems that initial countries for the Moto X Style only include countries across Europe, Latin America and North America starting in September, with Motorola not giving a firm timeline when Asian countries such us ours will get it.
