The new value-for-money midrange phones have arrived
With much anticipation, Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 5 series in India through its first press conference for 2018. While the Redmi Note 5 is indeed a rebranded Redmi 5 Plus for the Indian (and possibly global market), the Redmi Note 5 Pro is a different model, sporting a better processor, dual rear cameras, and a selfie-centric front camera.
Aside from having beefier specs, the Redmi Note 5 Pro has additional features such as Beautify 4.0 and Face Unlock. As Xiaomi announced, Face Unlock will be available to the Redmi Note 5 Pro via a software update.
