ZTE’s latest phablet has LTE on board, mid-range specs
Meet ZTE’s latest phablet, the gigantic Grand Memo II. More tablet than phone, the Grand Memo II is the company’s second attempt at the crowded large-screen territory dominated by the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy Note and LG’s G Pro. While it has the Memo moniker, the Grand Memo II doesn’t have a stylus on board its large, 6-inch body.

While the Grand Memo II is a large phablet, it makes up for its screen size with its decidedly slim frame, measuring in at an impressive 7.2mm thick. While it’s certainly a looker, it’s puzzling why ZTE didn’t go with a more powerful processor, going instead with Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 400. The upside is that the Grand Memo II may ship with a mid-range price point as well when it’s released in China in April before seeing a wider release in Asia and the US. No price has been set for the Grand Memo II.
