Aside from being the fastest mobile network in the Philippines for Q1 2023, Smart also maintains its lead when it comes to 5G roaming in 70 countries, where it is in partnership with 118 key operators around the world.

As of March 2023, PLDT has expanded its total fiber footprint to over 1.1 million kilometers, which consists of over 231,000 kilometers of international fiber and over 874,000 kilometers of domestic fiber. This fiber infrastructure also supports Smart’s 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G networks, which cover 97% of the country’s population as of 1Q 2023.
