The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has just released BizKo, an application looking to add convenience to the everyday lives of business owners. Specifically targeted towards Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) businesses, the goal here is to provide safe, reliable, and accessible methods for all payments with detailed records.
Digitalized integration of all payment systems is the goal behind BPI BizKo. This means that business owners with lower staff numbers can manage payouts themselves instead of allocating them to an entire team of employees. It will be easier to pay suppliers, employee salaries, utilities, and government dues without losing track of what went to who. Names of monetary recipients can be saved and grouped into categories to better monitor how the budget is spread out.
Viewing account information is now easier than ever before. Companies on BizKo can easily compare their current balances in their BPI accounts to how much they’re spending on the business. Invoices can also be created over the app, decreasing additional steps and overall hassle. Your loyal customers can also send money through a created Payment Link, which enables seamless transactions over the air.
Getting onboard BizKo is relatively easy as well since it just takes the information from your BPI bank account and automatically fills in the blanks in your application. Having a BPI bank and online account are both required to start BizKo, but you definitely won’t be spending much time getting set up once you get the ball rolling.
The application can also generate comprehensive reports covering a certain time frame. It will provide a summary of balances versus expenses, as well as other necessary information that you may need as an entrepreneur. Based on the launch event, future features for BPI BizKo could include credit card and GCash payment methods, direct links to more government agencies, scheduled payments on a regular basis among others.
