No Cash on You? No Problem.
Have you ever had the hankering to get some Chicken Nuggets or a McSpicy Chicken Sandwich but decided against it because you forgot to withdraw money from the ATM? That’s happened to me more times than I would care to admit but serious it does happen and there are days that no matter what ATM you go to, everything happens to be offline. Thankfully, PayMaya and McDonald’s have officially partnered up so you can grab a meal via card payments; may it be your Mastercard or Visa credit card, debit cards, or your prepaid PayMaya card.
For now, 40 branches of McDonald’s nationwide will accept cashless transactions with more to come as the year moves along. Two of their McCafe branches, the one at the BGC Arts Center and the Tagaytay Calamba branch, will also be able to accept payments via QR code soon; making transactions even faster and more convenient.
The companies are also working on a way for people to pay for their deliveries and book their McCelebrations Birthday Parties online too.
