More affordable options from Acer
Acer’s previous smartphone efforts hasn’t exactly taken off like the Taiwanese company has planned, so it’s not surprising that they’re coming up with new, more affordable Android smartphones this time around. Two new smartphones that’s part of their entry level lineup has just been announced in MWC: the Z220 and the Z520.
Both devices come packing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 processor, though the Z220 is the runt of the two, coming only with a 4-inch WVGA display as opposed to the Z520’s 5-inch WVGA display. Both also come with 1GB of RAM.
The Liquid Z220 has a 5-megapixel rear camera, whille the Z520 has an 8-megapixel rear camera. It also comes with a DTS studio sound speaker at the rear.
The Z520 is priced at €109 or Php 5381, while the Z220 is priced at €89 or Php 4394.
