Honor might unveil the Honor 9X on that date
Recently, Honor sent in invites for a save the date on July 24 in India. The invite, which reads #NoOrdinaryBeauty, gives a few hints. From the color scheme, the upcoming phone will come in green and purple. The two Os on the hashtag gives reference to a dual rear camera setup. Lastly, the caption itself refers to AI tricks to the selfie camera.
According to reports, the said date will be the launch for the Honor 9X, which is a rebranded Honor 9i that launched in China last month. It is expected to have the same specs with the Honor 9i, so we are getting a Kirin 659 processor, 4GB RAM, a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display, dual 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear cameras, and an AI-powered 16-megapixel front camera.
The price of the Honor 9X is pegged at around RS 15,000(~Php 11.8k), which is close to the Honor 9i’s pricing in China.
