Here’s what you can expect with the Nexus 6P
Google is expected to release the Nexus 5X and the 6P in the coming days, but for the folks who can’t wait for details about the Huawei-built 6P, we have you covered. A massive leak of a promotional deck meant for retail sales personnel has leaked out and has detailed most of the specs of the 6P, along with its main features and strengths.
Google Nexus 6P specs
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor (v 2.1)
- 3GB of RAM (unverified)
- 5.7-inch QHD display, Gorilla Glass 4, 2560 × 1440 resolution
- 32GB/64GB/128GB storage
- 3G, LTE
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C
- Android Marshmallow
- 3450mAh battery
Most noticeable is the reference to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor as version 2.1. Does that mean that the 6P is receiving a fixed (read: non-overheating) version of Qualcomm’s highest end processor? Aside from the processor choice, the deck also highlights the premium, all metal build (apparently a first for a Nexus flagship) and the Nexus Camera, which the deck says allows in more light for better low light shooting.
