Meizu’s cooking up something new
Aside from Xiaomi, it seems that another Chinese manufacturer has something to show us next week. Meizu’s VP Li Nan has confirmed that the company is launching a “quality smartphone” aimed at young people.
While the VP did not give us any details about the new device that they’re launching, it’s probably the Meizu K52 which has been making rounds in the GFX Bench database. The K52 has been pegged to run Android 4.4 KitKat and use a MT6752 octa-core processor running at 1.7GHz, 4.6-inch full HD display with 2GB of RAM and 12GB of memory, and be priced at around RMB 1000, or around Php 7240.
The question is now about availability – Novo7 Tech has said that they’ll be selling the Meizu MX4 Pro later next year because of high demand for the product, which also may be the likely fate of this upcoming smartphone.
