The new HMD flagship will soon be here
Waiting for the baddest Nokia device to hit our shores? You won’t have to wait long – HMD Oy’s local PR firm has officially sent out invites for the launch of the Nokia 8, their current flagship, for its official unveil in the Philippines next week.

It’s been roughly a month since HMD Oy officially unveiled the Snapdragon 835-toting, dual-camera armed Nokia 8, and in just a few days the device will be launched in the Philippines on September 29. The Nokia 8 is the first phone in HMD Oy’s lineup to have Carl Zeiss camera optics, and is the first flagship of the revitalized Nokia brand. Other specs include dual camera 13-megapixel rear shooters, 13-megapixel front camera, IP54 certification, 3090mAh battery, unibody aluminum construction as well as Nokia OZO audio that records 360 audio.
The Nokia 8 is priced at $700 or around Php 36K in other territories, though we’d have to wait a bit to find out local pricing for this particular device.
