What’s so special about this new phone?
CES is almost upon us, and everyone is jumping on the hype train. And by everyone, we mean everyone – even chip manufacturers like Qualcomm is trying to create buzz for their own products, namely their processors.

Qualcomm’s latest tweet though, has us scratching our heads – the company teased a photo of a handset that’s supposedly running a Snapdragon 800 processor that it’s unveiling during CES. If you’re not up to snuff on SoC 101, the Snapdragon 800 SoC is pretty dated, and is more than a year old – at this point in time we would have expected a teaser about a Snadpragon 810 powered handset.
Anyway, from the looks of the rear of the body, the new handset may come from LG though we could be wrong. We’ll be keeping an eye on Qualcomm’s feed to see what new developments they bring.
