Xiaomi Confirms Redmi 10 with 50-Megapixel Main Camera

Xiaomi is pretty much done with its Redmi 9 series, as it recently confirmed that the Redmi 10 series is coming soon on its Twitter account.

Revealing the back panel, the Redmi 10 will have a quad-rear camera setup, with the main camera confirmed to be a 50-megapixel sensor. In a follow-up tweet, Xiaomi further reveals that the Redmi 10 will have a Full HD+ display with a 90hz refresh rate, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and USB-C port. We’re not sure if the display will be an IPS or OLED panel; the Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro did have an OLED panel but settled for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

However, XDA Developers discovered a listing for the Redmi 10, revealing practically everything save for price. The spec sheet confirmed that the display is an IPS panel with an adaptive refresh rate and that it will be powered by an Helio G88 processor that is paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage.

Other details confirmed by the listing include an 8-megapixel selfie snapper, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5000mAh battery with 18w wired charging and 9w reverse wired charging.

While Xiaomi removed the announcement post for it, we expect the Redmi 10 to go official in the coming days globally.
