All-New Peugeot E-2008 EV Shown at MIAS

Late last year, we had a great opportunity to test out the sophisticated Peugeot 2008. We branded it as a quirky crossover that had very strong European flair. This time around, the brand wants to bring forth the future with the Peugeot E-2008 EV.

“The PEUGEOT E-2008 taking centerstage at our MIAS display is intended to give our customers a preview of the future with PEUGEOT. It is a symbol of our goal to give as many people as possible access to electrified mobility,” said PEUGEOT Philippines brand head Maricar Parco.

This is set to be the brand’s direction forward as environmental sustainability becomes a primary factor in transport for future generations.

Also attending the MIAS, Daniel Gonzalez, COO for ASEAN & General Distributors, Stellantis, said “Our goal is to provide more sustainable mobility options for our customers and exceed their expectations, a key element of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. We aim to become an industry leader in the fight against climate change, achieve net zero carbon emissions globally by 2038 and introduce more than 75 BEVs by 2030. To achieve this, we have a substantial electrified product line-up coming soon.”

Globally, PEUGEOT has bold targets for electrification, aiming to have a 100% fully-electric line-up in Europe by 2030. The Peugeot E-2008 EV is merely a glimpse of what’s to come.
