If you are looking for a more convenient way to cash out money from your GCash account, the e-wallet platform is back with a new Visa Debit card that its users can purchase through the app for Php 185.
The new GCash Visa debit card has a revamped look, with a vertical orientation and your name–which is based on your GCash account’s name–in front.Â
One of the perks of having a GCash Visa debit card includes being able to use it for your online and offline shopping needs. being able to withdraw money from any Visa or Bancnet ATMs worldwide, and being able to enjoy tap-to-pay transactions in various stores in over 200 countries. Aside from that, you can link your card to your GCash account for added convenience.
To get your own Visa card, open the GCash app and look for the Cards icon under the Manage section. After you confirm the name that will appear on the card, you input your delivery information. You will pay a delivery fee (in our case, the delivery fee is Php 65) on top of the Php 185 fee for the card, and expect to get your GCash Visa card within 3 to 4 working days.Â
Aside from being able to purchase a card through the GCash app, you will soon be able to buy one in-store.
