If you want to avail of a Starlink kit for a lower price, the company announced on its Philippines website that it has a promo for its hardware kit, which it will be priced at under Php 20k until August 31.
The actual price of the Starlink hardware kit in the Philippines, which consists of a router and a satellite dish, is Php 29,320, which essentially is a Php 9,931 discount if you compare it to the Php 19,999 promo price. Do note, however, that the promo price does not include the shipping fee and the monthly Php 2,700 payment for the satellite internet service, which can give you download speeds of anywhere between 50 to 200Mbps. To give you an idea, the shipping and handling fee for Metro Manila-based residents is Php 1,220.
With this price cut on the satellite kit, Starlink wants to make its services more accessible in the Philippines, which is a part of its commitment to providing internet services in rural areas and remote locations.
While the promo is posted on the website, we’re not sure if it’s also applicable to those who plan to buy their Starlink kits via PT&T, which is one of the official resellers in the Philippines.
