Part the Mistveil World Premiere and Calling Tokyo Announced!

Players in the Flesh and Blood Trading Card Game (FaB TCG) community are still in the middle of enjoying the latest amazing expansion that was Heavy Hitters when Legend Story Studios (LSS) hits them with two more heavy-hitting news: the World Premiere of the next set called Part the Mistveil, and Japan’s first-ever Calling in Tokyo!

Part the Mistveil World Premiere And Calling Tokyo Details

The monumental set of events will be held on May 17-19, 2024 at the Belle Salle Takadanobaba in Tokyo, Japan, and will feature FaB cards in the Japanese language for the very first time. The World Premiere will kick off the weekend on the 17th, followed by Calling Tokyo on the 18th, and Battle Hardened Tokyo on the 19th.

All three major events will use the Sealed Deck format. In this format, players will be given eight (8) Part the Mistveil packs to construct a 30-card deck. Players can choose to receive English or Japanese language cards, however the Top 8 draft in both the Calling and Battle Hardened will use Japanese language cards.

Further details about the World Premiere can be read at FaB TCG’s official website HERE. Tickets to the event can be bought HERE.

Part the Mistveil Calling Tokyo

As for the new set, Part the Mistveil takes the player to the land of Mysteria where “tradition, desire, and purpose will reshape your mind, body, and soul”, and will feature a new Talent (which is like a unique Class specialization) that’s never been seen before in the game. There’s also no information regarding which Classes will be heavily featured in this expansion. However, many online theories have concluded that given Misteria’s existing lore and the clues left by LSS, it’s very likely that the set will feature the Ninja, Assassin, and Illusionist classes.

FaB TCG’s creator, James White, has proudly stated that Part the Mistveil is their best work yet out of all the 13 sets that have been released since 2019 and is glad to have it coincide with a celebration that honors Japan as the motherland of the Trading Card Game industry.

Part the Mistveil will be officially released on May 31, 2024. You can find the official announcement video HERE.
