To further give peace of mind for its customers, Shopee is giving a 3x money back guarantee if it’s proven that an item bought in Shopee Mall is fake.Â
This is a solid commitment from Shopee in guaranteeing the legitimacy of items sold in Shopee Mall. If that’s not enough, Shopee also extended its return period to 15 days, giving customers more time to return items and apply for refunds in case they are not satisfied with their purchase. There’s also their Guaranteed Delivery policy, where customers will be given compensation vouchers in an event that an order is cancelled or not delivered within the estimated delivery date.Â
Since July 2023, Shopee Mall has received over 1,000 seller applications, and has been working their beast to ensure that these sellers meet certain brand quality standards, including having credible trademark registrations for brands or authorization letters for authorized distributors. To date, over 3,000 sellers are being transitioned to ensure a wide, reliable selection of authentic products.
Aside from having a solid money back guarantee for all products sold in Shopee Mall, Shopee also has its Brand Intellectual Property (IP) portal, where it aims to safeguard the interests of sellers and intellectual property owners. The portal allows sellers to validate their brands’ IP rights with Shopee and submit cases of IP infringement for investigation.
