HONOR completes its 2024 X series line with the unveiling of the X6b. While it looks similar to last year’s X6a, the main upgrade of the X6b is its use of a Helio G85 processor, which is more capable than the X6a’s Helio G36. Aside from the processor upgrade, the X6b gets faster charging speeds at 35w compared to the X6a’s 22.5w charging.
Aside from that, HONOR also simplified the cameras of the X6b, ditching the other filler camera. You also get Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 out of the box, but HONOR did not disclose how many updates will the X6b get along the way.
Save for those upgrades, you still get a 6.56-inch 90hz TFT display with a notch for the 5-megapixel selfie camera, a dual rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel main shooter, and a 5200mAh battery.
HONOR has yet to reveal the price and availabilty of the X6b. For reference, the X6a’s official price is Php 6,990 when it launched in the Philippines last year,so we’re expecting the X6b to be priced roughly the same.
