While it’s only been a few months since the NOTE 30 VIP has become official in the Philippines, Infinix announced a special Racing Edition model that’s made with BMW Group’s Designworks. What makes it special is the use of Infinix’s 3D Lighting Leather, which combines a TPU leather back with RGB lighting that shines through the panel. The colors that illuminate represent BMW’s iconic tri-color palette.
The light band indicates the phone’s status and symbolizes speed, performance, and power, “echoing the digital Racing Dashboard’s advanced nature and Infinix’s persistent spirit of challenge”. Being a motorsports collab, you get appropriate elements for it that include a palm grip embossed with small triangles to resemble the one used on performance steering wheels. You also get a customized UI that has a Magic Ring feature.
The packaging for the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition includes a special BMW-themed retail package with extra accessories like a 15W wireless charger and TWS earphones, along with VIP benefits like exclusive after-sales support, prioritized repair services, and other premium VIP privileges.
Other than the special details, it shares the same specs as the regular NOTE 30 VIP. These include a Dimensity 8050 processor, a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120hz AMOLED display, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, a 108-megapixel main camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 68w wired and 50w wireless charging.
The NOTE 30 VIP Racing Edition has a global SRP of $315(~Php 18k), though Infinix has yet to confirm if it will arrive in the Philippines.
