This isn’t your ordinary Windows tablet
Aside from the thin and light (also expensive) 2014 ThinkPad Carbon X1, Lenovo also launched their ThinkPad 8 Windows tablet earlier today. The ThinkPad 8 tablet is a professional grade tablet meant for businesses and workplaces, and utilizes a full HD display as well as a 2.4GHz Intel Atom Z3770 quad-core processor.

Lenovo is also selling a companion accessory for the ThinkPad 8 Tablet that allows it to connect to a keyboard, mouse, monitor and other desktop accessories. This basically allows you to use the ThinkPad 8 as normal PC when you’re at the office. When you need to go to a meeting, you just unplug the ThinkPad 8 from the dock and you can use it like a typical Windows tablet.
