It is the first Nokia phone with a “PureDisplay” Panel
Nokia introduced a new Android One Device with the Nokia 7.1. A mid-range device, the Nokia 7.1 is logically the successor to last year’s Nokia 7 and roughly on the same level with the Nokia 7 Plus. While it comes with a less powerful Snapdragon 636 processor (compared to Snapdragon 660 on the Nokia 7 Plus), the Nokia 7.1 stands out with its display.
Called “PureDisplay”, the Nokia 7.1’s 5.84-inch Full HD+ panel has support for HDR10 and can do real-time HDR conversion of SDR videos—a rare feature for a mid-range phone.
Rounding up its key features include a 12-megapixel f/1.8 RGB and 5-megapixel monochrome Carl Zeiss rear cameras, 8-megapixel f/2.0 front camera with AI-assisted face unlock, 3060mAh battery with fast charging, glass and aluminum build, and Android One.
