CES 2022 officially kicks off today and OnePlus revealed the official design of the 10 Pro ahead of its scheduled launch in China on January 11. The official teaser photos reveal a new layout for the camera module, corroborating earlier leaks of its new design language.
Unlike its predecessor, the OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup–and we presume that the brand is taking a step in the right direction by ditching the stat-stuffing depth sensor for good. Hasselblad branding is clearly written on the camera module, and the circular LED flash bears a mysterious “P2D 50T” branding–of which OnePlus has yet to reveal what it actually means.
The phone will be available in Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest, and some of its confirmed specs include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and the familiar alert switch that is a trademark of OnePlus phones. While today’s announcement remains scant on details, previous reports say that the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display with a 120hz refresh rate like its predecessor, a bigger 5000mAh battery, and 80w wired charging on top of OnePlus’ 50w wireless charging.
You will still get stereo speakers on the 10 Pro, and the triple rear camera setup is rumored to comprise a 48-megapixel main camera, 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, along with a 32-megapixel camera for selfies.
