OPPO Cares About Your Health with the OHealth H1

Inno Day 2022 has kicked off, and before OPPO unveils its next-generation foldables, the brand revealed some new products for day 1 of the event. Among the three announcements, the one that will most likely caught everyone’s attention is the OHealth H1, which shows that OPPO wants to ensure its users to have a good overall well-being.

Described to be a health monitor, the OHealth H1 is an oval-shaped device that has an array of sensors that can monitor SPo2, heart rate, and body temperature; do an ECG; monitor one’s heart and lungs, and track your sleep. Think of the OHealth H1 as a sophisticated version of a fitness tracker—minus the timekeeping part—that the whole family can use.

According to OPPO, the OHealth H1 has a proprietary algorithm that can provide a detailed health overview that can be shared to doctors, hospitals, and clinics—though OPPO did not detail on how they will achieve this.

The OHealth H1 weighs 95g, and its design makes it compact to carry around and to look different from traditional medical equipment.

Speaking about medical equipment, it remains to be seen if OPPO will be able to sell the OHealth H1 in various countries since it will need several certifications in order to be sold legally.

Outside of its foray into healthcare devices, OPPO also announced MariSilicon Y, which is a Bluetooth SoC that makes use of an N6RF process and aims to deliver up to 24-bit/192kHz high-fidelity lossless audio wirelessly. OPPO adds that the MariSilicon Y has a in-house Pro Bluetooth Pack that can increase bandwidth by as much as 50%.

Rounding up day 1 of Inno Day 2 is the Air Glass 2, which updates from last year’s Air Glass by having a resin SRG-diffractive waveguide lens, a more streamlined frame, and the ability to make phone calls, do real-time translation, provide location-based navigation, convert voice into text, and more.
