After receiving some minor tweaks over the past few years, it’s time for the Razer Blade 14, 15, and 17 models to undergo some major overhaul inside and out.
At CES 2022, Razer unveiled the new models which are all sporting the latest DDR5 RAM, NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti, and 12th-gen Core H-series processors from Intel.
Design-wise, the new models all feature slightly larger keys which according to Razer are designed to improve the “wellness” of users. There’s also a new hinge design which is thinner and capable of better ventilation.
Moreover, the Blade 14 now has a fingerprint-resistant external coating, 1080p IR webcam with full Windows Hello support, and support for AMD’s latest 6000 series processors.
Meanwhile, the Blade 15 can now be optioned with a UHD display from an IPS panel capable of 100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut coverage and a 144Hz refresh rate. This optional display is in addition to the previously offered 4K OLED with a 60Hz refresh rate.
As for the Blade 17, it packs some essential upgrades such as a higher 82WHr battery capacity, 280W power adapter, and four more speakers for a total of 8 speakers all around the laptop.
Razer Blade Price
The Razer Blade 14 has a starting price of $2,000 (Php 101,870), while the Razer Blade 15 and Blade 17 will start at $2,500 (Php 127,537) and $2,700 (Php 137,740), respectively. Pre-orders will open on January 25 for the Blade 15 and 17, and on February 10 for the Blade 14.
