With HONOR making the 200 series official globally last June 12, people are wondering if it will be available in the Philippines. Considering that the 100 series was not made available locally—and the last one we got was the HONOR 90, it remains to be seen if we’re getting the 200 series.
No need to guess, as we can safely say that the HONOR 200 series is indeed coming to the Philippines.
HONOR Philippines recently sent us a press release regarding the arrival of the 200 series, and brands sending such announcements imply that we’re getting the phones locally. We expect to get at least the standard HONOR 200, but we will not be surprised if they also bring over the HONOR 200 as well.
At this point, it all boils down to what configuration will be made available in the Philippines—we speculate to get at least the 12GB/256GB variant.Â
To recap, the HONOR 200 comes with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and has a 50-megapixel IMX906 main camera with a f/1.95 aperture, and OIS.
The HONOR 200 aims to be a well-rounded mid-range phone with a 50-megapixel IMX856 2.5x telephoto camera with OIS, 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with autofocus, 5200mAh battery with 100w charging, and a 6.7-inch 120hz curved OLED display.
