Ultrapixel selfies for everyone!
Sticking hi-resolution cameras on the front of a smartphone isn’t a new concept, in fact almost every smartphone manufacturer has made their own version of the selfie phone. HTC’s newest Desire 826 is a selfie phone with a difference in a sea of the same-y selfie phones – it has a front-facing, UltraPixel camera for better selfies.

The UltraPixel camera takes in more light than a regular sensor, so taking selfies in-not-so-ideal lighting conditions shouldn’t be a problem now. In addition, the Desire 826 uses a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM, has LTE on board and a more than generous 5.5-inch full HD display. This particular smartphone is bound for our neck of the woods, though without an official HTC office here in the PH, it may be offered by various online resellers instead of official channels. No price has been set for the Desire 826.
