A tamer X21 meant for the global market?
While Vivo’s X21 and X21 UD is now sold outside of China (specifically in Singapore), a new variant of the X21 made its rounds in TENAA and Geekbench. Called the X21i, this variant looks similar to the X21, from its notch-sporting display, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, to its vertically arranged dual rear camera setup.
The difference is with the internals: For the X21i, it swaps the Snapdragon 660 processor for MediaTek’s Helio P60 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. In addition, the X21i comes with a slightly smaller battery at 3170mAh.
Other specs include a 24-megapixel front camera, dual 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras, a 6.23-inch Full HD+ display, and Android 8.1. While Vivo’s X series is normally reserved for China, the X21 UD’s availability in Singapore indicates that Vivo might be bringing the X series outside of China.
