You can “snooze” your friends without unfriending them

Admit it: There are times you become annoyed with your Facebook feed, especially with the stuff your friends share. Fake news? Vacation photos? Get-togethers that give you FOMO feels? Cat memes? Well, we have some good news for you: Soon enough, you can avoid those posts without unfriending your friend on Facebook, thanks to Facebook’s Snooze feature.

While it is currently on test phase as of this writing, Snooze lets you avoid posts from your friends for a particular time period without you unfriending them. This feature will be useful not just to you, but also to Facebook groups and pages in order to avoid people leaving or unliking them. Think of Snooze as the social media way of giving your online friend a second chance before you get fed up and decide to unfriend them.
